Mirage: About Us

Mirage was Launched September 2006 at the European Limousine and Chauffeur show as a business venture supported by South East Coachworks and attracted a huge amount of interest within the private hire and chauffeur industry. The original vehicle was based upon the Mercedes Vito 111 Cdi with a sublime interior conversion and which was left to the mercy of those viewing through out the 3 days, to make or break the concept.

By the end of the show and with many interest parties and firm order, Mirage set about turning the vehicle into a production model. Major changes such as a double entry side door were required as well as some development with the technology within the Mercedes shell.

The corollary to the changes has meant a huge increase in specification for the standard Mirage for the same price. Improvements such as air suspension, electric seats, separate front and rear air conditioning as well as exterior chrome parts to add and extra panache to the design. Technology has also moved forward with a 6 disc DVD changer and surround sound as well as touch screen buttons to control all functions of the interior.

With orders rolling in and vehicles rolling out Mirage has begun expanding the vehicle range and is also welcoming conversions of existing vehicles, to give customers the edge they require.
